On May 16, our research assistant Alexandra Brautlacht participated in the ProGlobe Summer School: Design Thinking Workshop - International Collaboration on Sustainability at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. The summer school focused on fostering international collaboration in sustainability.

The program brought together students from Middle Tennessee State University, USA, and Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, Canada. Alexandra delivered a presentation titled "Closing the Carbon Loop - An Introduction to Negative Emission Technologies." She discussed various negative emission technologies and emphasized the importance of biochar for carbon sequestration.

Participating in the ProGlobe Summer School allowed Alexandra to exchange ideas, collaborate with peers, and further her commitment to sustainable research. We thank he for participating and the planning committee for organizing the event.
