The following analyses are carried out in the TEER fuel laboratory:

• Proximate analysis: Water and ash content, loss on ignition (LOI), content of volatile compounds, fixed carbon content
• Energy content: Lower and upper calorific value
• Elementary analysis: C, H, N, S, Cl
• Specific parameters: ash melting behavior, ash composition (X-ray fluorescence analysis), density determination, pH, conductibility, sieve analysis
• Pellet analyses: determination of the bulk density, structural robustness, content of fine particles
• Investigation of the decomposition behavior and loss of volatiles in a thermogravimetric analysis
