Verbund.NRW at the 18th Münster Circular Economy Days

28/02/2023

On 28 February and 1 March 2023, the 18th Circular Economy Days Münster took place with around 350 participants in the Messe und Congress Centrum Halle Münsterland and also online.

Under the motto "Secure energy and raw materials supply and the role of the circular economy", national and international representatives from municipalities, politics, business and science discussed how an efficient circular economy strategy can be implemented.

In the accompanying trade exhibition, the Verbund.NRW fellows presented their research topics and projects with interdisciplinary approaches to closing material cycles and implementing circular value creation in the building sector. In the lecture block on the implementation of circular value creation in the construction sector, Verbund.NRW participated with a lecture on the topic of the recyclability of composite materials - news from the Forschungskolleg Verbund.NRW. Sonja Stahn, Wojciech Walica and Yulia Fetishcheva gave insights into the work of the research college.

The event is organised every 2 years by the Institute for Infrastructure - Water - Resources - Environment (IWARU) and TAFH Münster GmbH in cooperation with the Institute for Waste, Wastewater and Infrastructure Management GmbH (INFA) and other university institutes. The TEER of RWTH Aachen University is also involved in the organisation.
