Welcome to RWTH Aachen University, dear first-year students!
We also show what we can do: Last week we could a group of open-minded first-year students accompanied by the Fachschaft Mining, Energy and Recycling and gave them a tour of our facilities. The broad spectrum of topics such as plastics recycling, particulate emissions or sewage sludge incineration met with lively interest - an exchange that can certainly be deepened during the course of studies. It was a great pleasure to present our institute and to share the enthusiasm for industry-related research and sustainable technology.
We wish the first-year students an excellent start to an exciting and successful studies.
